To start our San Juan Island Weekend, members decided to begin
with Tour de Lopez.

Tour de Lopez is an annual event put on by the Lopez Island Chamber
of Commerce attracking upwards to 1,000 cyclists annually.

This year was no exception for the amount of cyclists
showing up and no wonder, look at that sunshine.
|
We had members come for just the day one and
members that came for the whole weekend.
|
You can tell which members came for the whole weekend
since all were required to carry their bags on their bikes.
|
At the end of day one was one of the best meals ever,
served by a wonderful Lopez Island wait staff.
|
After dinner all said their goodbyes and divided into two groups,
some returning home and others going on to San Juan Island.
