August 10th-12th, Fri-Sun, Bainbridge Island Studio Tour
This 24-year tradition which began with the Winter Tour is a three-day event that showcases Bainbridge
Island and North Kitsap artists and their work. The tradition continues with the seventh year of the
2007 Summer Tour where 43 artists in 5 studios will display a unique
variety of high-quality art and fine crafts available for purchase, in a variety of mediums, formats,
and price ranges. When the brochure with the studio map come out in early July, there will be a biking

(or ride with a club). Enjoy the island sights and see some of the finest work in the West Sound:
painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, fabric art, furniture, pottery, glass, and more. Tour
artists are juried regularly to ensure that you will always find the highest quality work when you visit.

Because Tour de Muk is only 16 miles and most of our
members are used to riding much farther, we created another route that members
could use to get in more mileage. This route takes members from Mukilteo to Everett (26 miles)
which combined with Tour de Muk will give everyone a 42 mile overall route.
Our suggestion is to come out to Tour de Muk in
the morning which is a fundraiser supporting kids early
education and then when you are done with the first 16 miles meet back at the
event start with other SBC members and ride from Mukilteo to Everett.
To make sure everyone gets back to the start in time to ride with other club members,
it is recommended that you start Tour de Muk around 8am - 8:30am which will give you
a little over an hour to do the first 16 miles.
Tour de Muk starts at the Rose Hill Community Center
(Lincoln Ave & 3rd Street) in Mukilteo. Parking is available either on the street or down
one block from the start at the Mukilteo Ferry Dock Parking Lot (paid parking).
Since many of our ride leaders will be busy assisting with beginning riders on

loop, please let John know.
