Arlington to Mount Vernon

With warm sunny days still with us, everyone decides to extend
the weekly ride and see a little more countryside than on normal club rides.

To do this we ride part of Cascade's RSVP Route from Arlington to
Mount Vernon, past Lake Murray and Big Lake, up Little Mountain Road.

Midway stop is Mount Vernon Coop where members can laze
outside while enjoying a nice fresh pastry or sandwich.

After a nice rest everyone heads south again on Dike Road
along the Skagit River and through rural pasture countryside.

After Conway riders head southeast taking them
over rolling farm roads past area llama and horse farms.

At this point we start traveling through wooded countryside
on fun winding roads taking us up and down the last hills before home.

Rolling back into Arlington, all had a fun day. Summer is near an end,
but there are still a few warm cycling days left to this season.
